1. Before you leave a room, show both edges of its doorway from inside.
  2. Cross in small steps, keeping the door frame in view. Don’t step through and then spin around.
  3. From the other side, show both edges of the doorway again.
  4. In a whole-home capture, tap Next room at the doorway and name the room you are entering.
  5. At the end, walk back on a slightly different clear path and finish facing the view you started with.

If it doesn’t work

If the phone check says Close the break in your route, walk that stretch again slowly with a familiar doorway or corner in sight.

If the review says walking on to the next room may not work, see the path between rooms.

Keep doors in the same position until you finish. A door that moves between views confuses the join.
